After an early start around 9am, you’ll begin with a cycle rickshaw ride that takes you through the city’s narrow lanes, finishing at local vegetable market. Oriya cooking is popular for its subtle flavours and delicate spice. Here you get to handpick basic ingredients, herbs, and spices needed for your cooking. A short walk to the spice market with a guide helps you choose the required ingredients to help bring out the real flavour and aroma of the cuisine.
Once at the base kitchen, you’ll lend a hand with peeling, chopping, grinding, and all that’s needed to stir the cooking pot! Your guide for the class will toss up an entire spread made of some exquisite recipes that are sure to tantalize your palette.
