Friendship Peak is a majestic mountain, situated at Pir Panjal range, in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. This mountain, covered with snow, is perched at an altitude of 5,289 m above the sea level. The best route to access this peak is through Dhundi and Beas Kund. The ideal time to climb this peak is from May to June and September to October. Kullu Manali Airport and Joginder Nagar Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station.
The 13 day trip starts from New Delhi and ends in Bakarthach. We trek from Manali to Solang to Bakarthach and reach the friendship peak. We set a base camp at the place and move forward to another advance base camp.
Friendship peak in the Beas Kund area is an ideal non-technical trekking peak for those with limited or no mountaineering knowledge.

This is the most popular mountain area for foreign tourists also. We will start our journey from New Delhi, in first phase; we will reach to beautiful Manali. While touring we will visit Manali, the main attraction of tourists. A temple in Manali called Hadimba Temple is famous. Then we will visit Beas Kund, which is a small water body on the true left side of the glacier draining one of the many trickles which join to form the mighty Beas
Friendship Peak Trek is one of the best treks from Solang Valley on to Dhundhi. While moving further we will have the opportunity to visit the Base camp. Then after we will visit Dhundhi (It is believed that there was once an Ogress called Dhundhi in the kingdom of Prithu) which is the last destination of our tour

You will be picked-up from the Kullu bus stand and driven to the Tirthan Valley where you can leisurely visit the apple garden or simply relax at the cottage. You can also hike through lush-green thickets while enjoying the scenic landscapes that comprise of stunning waterfalls sprawling throughtout the region.
Once here, visit the trout fish farms along the trek and study the methods of fish farming in Kasol. On the second day enjoy a trek to one of the beautiful waterfalls in the area before ending the trip on beautiful note.

How to reach?
You have to report at base camp in Kasol which is around 28 km from Bhuntar bus stand. Many local transports and private cabs are available from Bhuntar to reach Kasol.

- Pass through the steep path until you reach your campsite below the tree line.
- Keep trekking from Palachak to Panihatru covering a distance of 14 kms for 5 hours and then from Panihatru to Mahru / Udag over Thamsar Pass.

- Drive from Nayagran to Dalhousie hotel and enjoy sight seeing at Dalhousie, then continue driving to Dharamshala.

- Start trekking through the hills and valleys for about 8 kms. the trek will be an easy one.
- Pass through the valleys as you trek from Barabhangal to Dhardi for about 6-7 hours.
