About the Dodital Trek:
Nestled high up in the mountains at an altitude of 3310 mts above sea level Dodital trek is another must trek. This trek is named after the rare Himalayan trout which is known as Dodi in the local language. Start the journey from Dehradun, drive till the quaint little village- Sangam chati from Uttarkashi,start the initial trek and see Agoda settlement.
Enjoy camping near the winsome campsite above the rivulet at Bhebra. Continue trekking through a mixed forest high above the Asi Ganga before entering a side valley leading to Dodital. On the third day trek will be around 6 hours and to a height of 3310m. Catch the glimpse of the Gujar settlement and then make your way through the rhododendron, oak, pine and bamboo forest. Listen to the noise of the distant valleys and the birds chirping during the trek.
