The catch is that you and your team will be given a basket with many holes and will have to use leaves to cover it up. Manage the whole thing in such a way that the water does not leak. Either that or you would have to collect water with a bamboo stick. Other activities include starting a fire using old techniques and hunting for food with a game of archery. You will also have to find shelter and build it with the materials that are provided. Engage in Scavenger Hunt where the utensils will be hidden across. You and your group will have to scout for them. Somewhere along the way, a lion is on the prowl and you have to undertake Jumaring (rope climbing activity). Also, one of your tribesmen is injured. The team has to make a stretcher with what is provided and will have to carry him back on top of it.

The team that manages to complete all of these activities successfully at the earliest will be titled the winner.

A night camp experience, touring a Rajasthani village, watching the sun set over the sandy dunes, drive over the undulating landscape and visiting the homes of two ethnic communities – all this is packed into the 3 day Desert Experience Camp. Unfold the beauty of Sakleshpur with a nature trek to this scenic hill station. Delight in a myriad of experiences as you meander through rustic railway tracks, craggy terrains, enigmatic tunnels, beguiling meadows and valleys.

This adventure filled activity of around 18 hours spreads over two days and falls under the difficult category. In all, you will be covering a distance of 40 kms. Depart from Bangalore at around 10 pm for an overnight journey to the captivating valleys of Sakleshpur. Arrive and check in the hotel at around 6 am. Refresh, indulge in a sumptuous breakfast. Around 7 am, under the guidance of a certified instructor, trek up and reel in the most popular trails and hilltops of the locale.

Spend tranquil moments, relish in lunch amidst the dewy meadows and head back to the campsite. Unwind by the campsite and sleep in tents in the company of stars and nature.

Day two will begin around 6 am and post breakfast you will be taken through some of the abandoned tunnels, railway tracks, primeval bridges and cascading waterfalls dotting the region. Post lunch, trek up to Kukke Subramanya. Reach the campsite sometime in the evening and retire for the day. After some light moments and dinner by the campsite, you embark upon a return journey to Bangalore at around 10 pm.

Revel in an overnight camping and adventure filled experience at untamed Dandeli.  The guided tour starts early in the morning around 7 am when you are driven from Dandeli to Ganeshgudi for an hour of bird watching. An expert naturalist guides you through the vegetation where over 350 species of birds reside. After a short interval for breakfast, the rest of the morning would be reserved for mountain biking on bikes specially adapted for the landscape. Enjoy riding through rough and bumpy paths. This would be followed by an hour of lunch and then would begin the enlivening surfing session in the River Kali.

After the invigorating session in the river water, the trek through the thick evergreen foliage of the nearby jungle with a guide well-versed with the route comes next. The final activity is the coracle ride on the river Kali’s peaceful waters when you might spot snakebirds and darters swooping over to catch a fish.

As dusk approaches, you would return to Dandeli and then onto Pansoli forest for the night camping. On reaching the camping site on the river bank, the bonfire is lit around which barbeque and dinner is served. Dinner concluded, you could either decide to sleep and rest in the camp tent or you could even choose to go for the night trek led by a guide through adjacent forest area. The next day after breakfast around 8 am, you will return to Dandeli.

This experience consisting of a guided trek from a naturally aesthetic village Sada, neatly tucked on a high peak in the Western Ghats of Chorla, will take you through an adventurous journey. Sada Falls is situated 8km from here. You’ll have to go through different terrains, cross streams, and hop boulders to reach to the bottom of this 200feet cascade falling in between from two adjacent hills. Lying on the border of Karnataka and Goa, this waterfall created over centuries is breathtaking.

Around six trekking hours lie ahead of you. After transfer from Belgaum around 7am to Kankumbi campsite, you’ll have breakfast and leave for the village of Sada (16km). After an exciting trek through a dense jungle, packed lunch on the way, and making way through unknown surroundings, you’ll arrive at the mystical and amazing Sada Falls. Soak in the calm, tranquil environs for a while. Head back to Sada, enjoy the rural sojourn with the locals. After which, leave for the base camp where you’ll have refreshments before your drop back to Belgaum around 7pm.

Trek to Vajra Waterfall; with an abundant flow throughout the year, it cascades down to Mahadaye River.

Your 6 hour trek starts from Belgaum at around 7am.  Drive to the Kankumbi campsite and get charged with a quick breakfast. A one hour drive takes you to Chapoli where the trek to Vajra Falls commences. Begin with a slight descent and feel the excitement grow as you gradually tread through a steeper terrain till the confluence point of the Kasara stream and Mahadaye River is reached.

Enjoy the experience through a rocky terrain, go boulder hopping, cross the river and take in the bountiful sights of evergreen Jamboti Range Forest. As you reach the scenic cascade, relish in the picnic lunch with the company of the waters gushing through clusters of green. Later, trek back to Chapoli and head to the campsite. Delight in an adventure packed day along the gushing waters of River Kali. The close to 9-10 hour rafting expedition begins in the morning around 9 am, when you are picked up from Dandeli for an hour long drive to the River Kali. Once there, you are briefed about the techniques and safety measures by a professional guide who also kits you up with life jackets and helmets. The next hour or so is spent in indulging in the stimulating and exciting activity of paddling your raft in the swiftly swirling waters of the river. With rapids ranging from grade 2 to 3, the 12 km rafting route on the Kali River is fairly placid and is ideal for even inexperienced rafters.

Having completed this activity and built up a sufficient appetite, you are then driven to another shore for a lunch break. With the water at this shore being calmer, the remaining activities of kayaking, river surfing and coracle riding are conducted here for the next 2 hours. A specialised person guides you through the kayaking experience as you slowly make you way over the river water in your inflated raft. Also get an opportunity to revel in the natural Jacuzzi formed with the crystal clear waters of Kali. Having concluded an action-packed day, you return to Dandeli for a much welcome rest.

About the Destination:
