DOLPHIN S NOSE

Located between Yarada and Gangavaram port in Visakhapatnam, the Dolphin's nose is a massive hill resembling the shape of the nose of an adult dolphin. This hill is seen clearly from the RK beach. Since it acts as a cliff over the seas, it is a popular spot for adventures and picnics. 

The history associated with this tourist spot makes it one of the best places to see in Vizag. Before the Independence of India in 1947, this hill was used as a military camp by the British. A lighthouse, church, mosque and a Hindu temple are all located near the hill and can be visited easily.

You can also catch breathtaking views of the ocean and the cityscape from the temples and lighthouse situated on this hill. The total elevation of the mountain is 358 m.
