Those who wish to embark on an interesting Pushpagiri trek; this will be a fun challenge for you! Though a bit strenuous, on completion, the trek offers several bountiful views of Coorg’s evergreen and mesmeric charm.
    • Located on the northern side of Coorg, the Pushpagiri Peak can be reached by two different routes. For those with an eye to scale high peaks, grab your gear and experience the adventurous Pushpagiri trek! The eastern entrance for the peak is from Beedehalli through the Heggademane Temple. For the observant traveler, there is a check post of Somwarpet Wildlife Range.
    • The Pushpagiri trek is around 12 km starts around 09:00 AM and lasts for 4-5 hours. Beedehalli can be accessed easily while Somwarpet can be approached from Madikeri at a distance of about 30 km. You could explore the wide expanse of the Pushpagiri Wildlife sanctuary upon your visit here, and can be accessed from Madikeri town.
    • Somwarpet can also be accessed from Mysore via KR Nagar and Ramnathpur. The beautiful climate and the friendly locals will make you feel right at home, and allow you to bask in the glory of all that nature can provide you in ample quantity.

Due to its exquisite splendour, many have compared its peaks to that of those abroad. The latitude of this peak is about 60 degrees, making it a challenging and fun hike for you. The view of the landscape around is brilliant and gives you a 360 degree view of the place.

    • The final Blue Ridge trek of 1 km is difficult and may be challenging; and a piece of cake for the true adventurer!

Located in the Western Ghats of South western Karnataka, this quaint peaceful hill station has become a favourite tourist spot for many an adventurer! The most loved and explored aspects of Coorg are its famous coffee plantations as well as the ethnic diversity of the people who reside there.
    • If climbing a famous peak has always been part of your dream, all you need to do is join other trekking enthusiasts in the exciting Kotebetta trekking experience! This peak is the third highest (1620 meters) in Coorg after the Brahmagiri and Thadiyandamol, and is also known as ‘fort hill’ due to its resemblance to one.
    • Climbing up smooth roads is not fun for the hard core trekker, and so you needn’t expect anything of the sort from a trek to Kotebetta. While the initial route is tarred road, it soon begins to get muddy, followed by a smooth trail after.
    • The 20 km Kotebetta trekking experience (to and fro)starts at around 09:00 AM takes about four to five hours, but the sights around will make you forget the duration of the trek, or any of the challenges ahead! For the observant trekker, there is a beautiful Shiva Temple situated on the base of the Kotebetta Peak. 
    • You will begin the exciting trek from Madikeri Somvarpet Highway, and after 20-30 km from Madikeri, the signpost will declare that you have reached Kotebetta on the left.  You can relax in between intervals and interact with localities that traverse the areas in their bullock carts and have sips of coffee with them; and pack your memories full of Coorg!
