Grand Tour of Slovakia Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Bratislava, Slovakia
  • Arrive in the capital city of Slovakia, Bratislava, and get transported to your accommodation to freshen up. The very first day of your tour shall be free for you to explore the city on your own, relax a bit and get ready for adventures ahead.
Day 2
Bratislava city sightseeing
  • After having a fulfilling breakfast at your hotel, you shall head towards the Old Town of Bratislava to admire its prominent monuments, including the Primates’ Palace, St. Martin’s Cathedral, and Michalska Gate. You shall also be visiting the iconic Bratislava Castle that dominates the center of the city and is one of the most beautiful attractions of the city.

Day 3

Day 4
Transfer to Kosice city. UNESCO cave or Betliar manor house
  • After having a fulfilling breakfast at your hotel, you will be visiting either Ochtinska Aragonite Cave, which is a unique and magical natural formation; or the Dobsinska Ice Cave, which is the largest ice cave in entire Europe. Both of these attractions reserve their names in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
  • After that, you shall be visiting the Betliar Manor House, a noble hunting residence, right out of a fairy tale, surrounded by a beautiful garden and comprises an artificial cave as well as a waterfall. After visiting these attractions, you shall be transferred to Kosice City, where you can rest at your hotel to get ready for the next day's explorations.
Day 5
Sightseeing: Kosice city. Transfer to Bardejov town.

Day 6

  • You will leave your hotel after breakfast for a sightseeing tour of Bardejov town, which is one of the oldest towns in Slovakia. It is considered to be one of the most Gothic towns of the world and has various beautiful historical buildings in its city center.
  • The most important monument that you will be visiting is the Basilica of St. Egidius, which dates back to the 15th Century. After that, you can also opt to visit Pieniny National Park to raft down the beautiful Dunajec River on a wooden raft before you get transferred to Kezmarok city to end off your day.
Day 7
Kezmarok historic town visit
  • On this day, you will be taking a tour of the historical town of Kezmarok. The most important attraction of this beautiful town, on the foot of High Tatra, is the Protestant wooden church, which showcases beautiful Baroque interiors. Post that, you will head towards the historical Levoca town to take a tour of the same.

Day 8

After taking a tour of the castle, you shall be moving to Vlolinec Village to visit Monument Reserve of Folk Architecture, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Post that, you will be transferred to Banska Bystrica town to end off your day.
Day 10
Day 10 Visit the wooden church in Hronsek village. Transfer to Bratislava.
  • After your breakfast, you shall be visiting the beautiful and architecturally important wooden church in Hronsek, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and can accommodate up to 1100 people. After your visit, you will be transferred to Bratislava city to rest for the day.
