1) Do we provide Insurance? What do we cover in this?
Many of the trips have insurance attached with them but not all. If you want a particular insurance done we can arrange it for you.
2) How is the safety insured?
Best equipments, experienced trainers and following the safety norms ensure that the safety of the customers is always kept in mind.
3) What are the steps taken in the emergency scenario?
Most of the guides have basic medical training and have gone through CPR and Lifesaver/Lifeguard Training Courses. Also in case there is any emergency there are provisions to rush the customer to the nearest hospital.
4) How safe is a paraglider flight?
No accidents have occurred till now and it is quite safe. There are chances of getting bruised due to faulty takeoff or landing.
5) I am below 18 can I have a paraglider flight?
Yes, you can have tandem flight. The pilot will be with you in the glider.
6) Can I have a family adventure trip?
Yes, we have variety of packages to choose from soft adventures, nature walks, stay in eco huts and tents are some of the activities that fall under the category of family adventure activity.
7) How can I judge myself on the difficulty rating given by you for a package?
Every sport has fitness level attached. Most of the package details give you details about the amount of physical exertion required. Feel free to contact us in case you need more info.
8) Will Thrillophilia help me promote my hotel or eco resort?
Yes, we do promote your eco business whether it is your eco resort, eco trail or some adventure activity which do not harm nature.
9) How can I associate with Thrillophilia?
We have set many criteria which have to be fulfilled before you can get associated with us. Please drop us a mail we will send you detailed questionnaire. After that if we feel that we can partner with you we will send our representative to your place and then if our review team is satisfied we can have an alliance.
10) Do you provide a tour guide who can speak in my mother tongue? What are the extra charges for such a guide?
In some tours we provide the tour guide but you must confirm it while booking the trip. There is a cost attached to it. However, if the entire group is looking for a tour guide who can speak a particular language, we can try to provide the same for free although we cannot guarantee it.
11) What if I am not satisfied after the trip?
Do give us feedback and we will try to improve upon the areas which have led to the discontent. Also we will do whatever we can to lessen your discontent. We believe in providing quality service to our customers.
12) What if I do not get things listed in the package during my trip?
Firstly all the tours are designed in such a way so as to mention only those things or services that are provided to the customers. If in case there is anything missing from the tour which is mentioned in the travel brochure, then do let us know. If it is possible for us to provide you with that particular thing or service, we will do it straightaway. If it is not possible we promise you that we shall take the required action so that the same mistake is not repeated in the future.
13) I do not know swimming. Can I do scuba diving?
No. Swimming is a must for scuba diving but you can always try snorkeling for which swimming is not a prerequisite.
14) What are the different training courses offered by you?
Right now we offer Scuba diving courses, Padi courses, Paragliding courses, Basic Mountaineering courses and rafting training courses.
15) Are there any special plans for students?
Yes, there are special packages for students where they can enjoy camping, trekking and other sports. Also they are taught various team building activities which help them to groom for future.
16) How are we contributing towards preserving nature?
We volunteer for many nature camps where we plant trees or we go for cleaning different places from plastic and other dump thrown by travelers. If you wish to volunteer for our next event we will be more than willing to include you.
17) How good are our trainers?
Before choosing our trainers or third party vendors we go through their detailed information and experience in the business. Their past record in terms of accidents under their leadership is also looked into. Utmost care is taken to provide you the best people in the business.
