Sales Manager


Job Description:

To handle large corporate accounts for company’s sustainable growth in the long term. On a daily level, your job is likely to include


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client.
  • Determining what their business requirements are, whether the products or services being considered are suitable.
  • Decide whether the current programs need adapting to meet the client's needs.
  • Answering any questions the client might have.
  • Presenting your findings to outdoor team to act on, and then to the client.

Once the product or service has been sold, in theory your role ends. In a large IT company, post-sales specialist then take over. However, in smaller ones you will also be responsible for areas like implementation, guiding outdoor department, training and aftercare support.

As a sales specialist, you may concentrate on a particular area demographic or programs, or have a broader role.


Skills and Interests


To be good at Corporate sales you will need:

  • Excellent knowledge, and a keen interest in sales issues

Job Description:

  • Responding to incoming phone calls & incoming email enquires.
  • Lead nurturing & fixing up appointments, national business development activities
  • Market research to identify potential prospects for a given service offerings.

We are looking for a technology expert who can lead and build tech team. We are a funded startup (www.thrillophilia.com) in adventure travel and are looking for a hands-on technology lead to join us. The tech lead will be responsible for managing and enhancing the product after the beta release is out. We are building a completely new product around it and the lead will own it as an entrepreneur.


Who are we looking for:

  • Self starter.
  • Hands-on, loves to code, and has done product development before
  • Around 3-8 years of exp.
  • Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, mysql and web technologies.
  • Can build a small tech team of 4-6 people over next few months
  • Must be proficient to handle the technical aspects of a website completely

Building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for corporate as well as International partners.

Outdoor Manager / Expert:


Many of you will think it’s a dream job where you will get to travel to beautiful treks in Himalaya or experience wildlife in the dense forests. We do not deny from it but this profile is slightly different from a tour leader profile. Here you do have to travel but mostly to nearby places around Karnataka taking care of corporate events or smaller groups at exotic locations. Please go through the roles and responsibilities very carefully.


In an ideal scenario the outdoor manager will support the Outdoor program by planning, implementing, executing and leading a wide range of day to multi-day outdoor adventure trips and Corporate team building programs.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • As an Outdoor Manager you should be willing to travel as & when there are trips / Outings & at times this will happen over the weekends too. We assume you love travelling.
  • The Outdoor Manager will be accountable for all the outing preparations i.e. right from co-coordinating with the clients, assisting staff & our vendors.
  • Teach outdoor skills relevant to the itinerary with your own style, flair and awesomeness.
  • Responsible for all facets of the trip including but not limited to; planning, paperwork, driving, camp set up, equipment management, food preparation, and overall leadership.
  • Plan and lead the Pre and Post trip meetings
  • Promote and represent Outdoor Pursuits program in a positive and professional manner.
  • Responsible for participants overall physical and emotional safety, health, and experience during trips and programs.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of all outdoor equipment.
  • Adheres to posted job schedule.
  • Enforce and adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Recognize and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies. Provide proper emergency care (first aid/CPR/AED) when necessary.
  • Attend all staff meetings and in-service trainings.
  • Provide quality customer service and create wow experience.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by Outdoor Head.

Skills Required

  • Facilitation skills are must. You should be able to clearly and strongly communicate to a group of people.
  • Should be able to handle corporate groups of bigger sizes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Should be reasonably fit to go for treks and other adventure activities
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Preferred if you have been Outdoor Adventure Trip Leader
  • Preferred if you have been an assistant in trip planning
  • Preferred if you have competence of the following skills: Canoeing, Kayaking, Backpacking, Camping, Rock Climbing, SCUBA Diving, Wilderness Survival, or Mountain Biking.s
  • Preferred if you have certifications is paramedics, CPR or First Aid
  • Previous experience in an event management company or outdoor is an added advantage.
