Norway, a land sparsely populated with just 16 inhabitants per square kilometer, is a rich unexplored paradise of serene natural beauty. Most of the terrain is dominated by the sea reaching into the topography of the country, creating Fjords (Inlets or channels). Often deeper than the sea levels, fjords are also created by glacial erosions. Dominated by vast rocky landscapes, most regions of Norway are unpopulated and have been declared as a national park.
What happens when such beautiful landscapes meet the discerning eyes of a kayaker with a Go-Pro attached to his beloved kayak? Beautiful, stunning and serene pictures that are ‘Serenity Personified!’
Tomasz Furmanek, a software professional, has toured the sceneries of Norway for over 10 years on a Kayak and captured some of the most arresting snaps. Tomasz says kayaking makes him a calmer person.
A GoPro and an avid Kayaker can make a heady concoction that will make you simply want to stand and stare.
Capturing the serene beauty of each landscape, Tomasz’s vantage point is one of the most apt to view the beauty of Norway.
Tomasz confesses that he posts these pictures for the benefit of 10,000+ Instagram Followers who all follow his account avidly.
“I’ve had about ten thousand subscribers this summer before I went on a trip to the Lofoten Islands together with a friend Christoffer Vandbakkom, whom I met on Instagram”
Can anyone keep going ahead with such magical scenery flanking them!
Definitely makes you want to see the Scandinavian landscapes once in their lifetime doesn’t it?
Be it day or night, these landscapes look like they have jumped straight out of a storybook!
