“Adventure is a path. Real adventure – self-determined, self-motivated, often risky – forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of humankind – and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both. This will change you. Nothing will ever again be black-and-white.” – Mark Jenkins

Evolution is the nature of man or so goes the saying. Hence, despite of all the responsibilities, the basic nature of man remains unrestrained. He incessantly keeps looking for new ways to suit his own desires. He wanders from one place to another because traveling gives pleasure and wandering reinstates the synergy which once was present between man and the universe.

The single best reason to travel is because you want to. All other reasons sprout from this one. Chances are if you are reading this it means you are among the richest people in the world with a bit of dedication you can truly make the world your oyster. It would be irresponsible to pass it up, wouldn’t it?

The sense of freedom that you get when you travel is incomparable. The seeker in you who is on a soul searching journey feels at ease breaking away from the monotonic lifestyles of everyday. Yeah! That’s a feeling that lingers and is savored for long. It is this sense of independence that helps a man to adapt and evolve.

Traveling is a great time to introspect. When you are in new surroundings you are compelled to compare. You see people behaving differently, you see men women dressing up differently and you also see families, cultural traditions which are so different than yours. But you also see the emotions, the love, friendship and compassion which is also a part of where you belong. Seeing these differences and similarities are what will transform you as a person.

When you travel to different places you see a world that is different from yours. When you step out of your comfort zone you learn a great deal about other cultures and people. This learning brings in numerous realizations about life and its ways. You will be surprised by the vastness of world and the miracles nature created long back.

You might travel for fun or that’s what most people believe. But there is an unheard reason why one travels. Now this one is especially for young people who are yet to start working. If you have been out and about it says lots about your personality. You have done the preparations that include planning where to go, when to go, how to go there, sorted the budget out (read accommodation, food etc). All this planning requires management and risk taking abilities. It means that you are willing to take challenges and are adaptable to the changes. Now if you put this in your resume it will definitely work towards your advantage. And being a go-getter there are all the chances that office ventures which involve traveling will be assigned to you.

Adventure Traveling is for the open hearted. For not only will it broaden your horizons but will also give you a brighter and more evolved perspective. And doesn’t it give you a new motivation to live life differently?
