Along with the Dubai Dolphinarium, the Al Jaddaf locality will now have this seven-storey public library as well. From afar, you will believe that this world-class library bears a striking resemblance to an open book sitting on a rehl – a lectern that traditionally holds the Quran, and it does. The library will be positioned as a sanctuary of the nation’s cultural treasures, whether literature or media.

2. Madame Tussauds 

Opening: 2020 (Exact date to be announced) 

On the Bluewaters Island, the first-ever Madame Tussauds of Dubai is scheduled to be inaugurated in the year of 2020. A trip to this uber-cool museum will give residents and tourists the opportunity to get photographed with the lifelike wax structures of the famous figures. If you are curious to know which actors, singers, sportspersons or even politicians have taken on a wax-avatar, then get ready to be surprised at the Dubai outpost.

3. Zombie Apocalypse Park

Opening: Mid-2020 (Exact date to be announced)

Although the city of Dubai never sleeps, its new zombie-themed attraction will have you wake up in the land of the living dead. At 65,000 square feet of space, the Zombie Apocalypse Park (ZAP) will be a first-of-its-kind entertainment zone. From axe throwing and archery to a haunted house and corn maze, this park might actually make you believe you are a zombie. The live shows, virtual-reality cinema and escape games will also be powered by glow-in-the-dark technology. Get ready for a once in a lifetime experience. 4. Museum of the Future

All that is futuristic will be showcased at the architecturally impressive – Museum of the Future. A  silver structure in the shape of an eye, this museum has been built across the Emirate Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road. From innovations to inventions, this attraction is one solid way for you to discover what the future might look like. Additionally, it will also be the ultimate platform for testing prototypes of products.

5. Ain Dubai

Opening: October 2020 

An addition to the list of star attractions, Ain Dubai will be the highest observation wheel in the world. At 250-metres, it will be standing tall at the Bluewaters Island in this avant-garde city. With 46 double-glazed capsules, Ain will hold up to 1,400 passengers in one round. Some capsules will also be available on rent as private pods that can place around 12 guests whether it’s for special lunches, dinners, and events. If you loved the London Eye, you are in for a treat as Ain Dubai is twice the size.

6. The View at the Palm

Opening: 2020 (Exact date to be announced)

How amazing would it be to get a panoramic view of the magnificent Dubai? If that is what you’re looking for, then waste no time and do make your way onto the 52nd floor of the Palm Jumeirah. A 240-metre high observation deck, The View at The Palm will have the utmost view along with an infinity pool wrapped around the tower. 7. Sky Walk
