A word of advice would be to avoid getting on the flight after 12-24 hours of your snorkeling session, in order to minimize the risk of residual nitrogen which might result in decompression.

When we say that Fiji and Kava go hand-in-hand, we mean it. Imagine venturing into a local area, sitting with locals and drinking the locally made kava drinks with relaxes your entire sensatory powers, well that’s the Fijian kava culture for you. Kava (also known as yaqona or gorg) is indigenous to the Fijian islands, and you simply cannot leave the territory without shooting of kava bullets from locals of Fiji Islands, as a gesture for having ‘invaded’ their territory.
