Devarayanadurga
Devarayanadurga previously called Anebiddajari, the history of Devarayanadurga dates back to 1696 when the king of Mysore Sree Chikkadevaraja Wodeyar ruled this place. This hill station falls between the river basins of Krishna and Cauvery. It runs across the east of Tumkur district and provides spectacular images all across. People come here for rock climbing and trekking. Devarayanadurga also houses a natural water spring called Namada Chilume. The weather of this place is moderate which means one can come here anytime of the year.

Chennarayana Durga: Located 10 km from Koratagere on the way to Madhugiri via Tumkur, it is one of the nine Durga forts. Inside the fort, there is a small temple and one can also spot ruined and semi ruined old structures.
