Camel Museum Overview

An exclusive habitat completely dedicated to the ship of the desert, Camel Museum is a recognized as one of the most visited museums in Dubai. Perched on the banks of the sparkling Dubai Creek, the original space where the museum is located is Al Shandagha historical district.

From 1940s, Camel Museum has been giving shelter to the very rare species on earth and previously it was called as Camel Riding House or Beit Al Rekab. A great depth of knowledge about the camels on the peninsula is available here and thus makes a gracious rapport with these gentle animals through which people will have an idea of how important it is to protect these animals.

The uncommon bonding between the Emiratis and the camels is quite famous from time immemorial and you are going to get a deep impression about the same with the displays at this museum.

Al Shandagha Historical District, Dubai, UAE. It is at a place which is located about 15 minutes’ drive away from Dubai city.

Timings: 
The museum is open on all days from Sunday to Thursday from 08:00 am to 02:00 pm. It will not be operational on Saturday and Friday.
