Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, Trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is essentially a tea town. The tea plantations have now been taken over by the Tata Tea Company. The visitor is greeted with miles and miles of unending tea plantations on entry into Munnar. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands is the Neelakurinji, a flower, which bathes the hills in blue colour once every twelve years. The Neelakurinji will bloom next in 2018 AD. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi - which towers over 2695 M and is an ideal spot for campers who like to do some trekking.

We trek amidst the tea gardens, climbing gradually until we reach the campsite. This trek takes you through various passes in the mountainous terrain. Snaking across a large area, this lake is placid and beautiful and a source of water for farmers downstream. Many tribal colonies here, farm spices and cardamom which grow abundantly in the salubrious climate here.

Two nights three days trekking & camping:-

For all the three days, our trekking will start, at 9:00 am and end at 4:30pm. From munnar the trekking starts and it goes to Mattupetty hills. We will walk through the tea plantations and forests, mountain ridges and end at the camp site.
