The Tosar Lake is located at the altitude of 4000 meters. The trek offers some of the finest trekking experiences in the beautiful Himalayan Treks. An amazing and rich range of flora and fauna is seen here. Vast and fresh mountain ranges are here for a trekker’s delight. This trek follows old long-established Yak and cow trails in the reserve forest. Himalayan Yak safaris will be another cherished activity one can indulge into. You will pass through wet temperature, broad leaved species and bamboos. Camp site at Managan is a two hour drive from Gangtok. Also, there will be other valleys on the way to explore. Visit some villages like, Managan – Naga out side the Reserve forest. For fishing, there is the Changu Lake, where you need to take permission. Explore Yumthang Valley - known as Valley of Flowers.
