The hike is demanding but you will be rewarded with snow capped peaks and pleasant landscapes. There are possibilities to discover with rare species. The rich flora and fauna adds charm to this region. Guides are easily available. The alluring and the majestic terrains have rolling hills and pleasant waterfalls. Stunning place called Shillong is known as ‘mini London’. The main attraction is Shillong point. You will traverse through gorgeous and mystic lakes, woods.
Day 01: Lumparing to Shillong view point
Very amicable and tranquil Lumparing is set near Shillong. Start trekking towards Shillong. Shillong view Point is reached after 8-10 hour journey. You get an opportunity to traverse through some picturesque scenery and landscape.
Day 02: Thadan (Smit)
Last trek of your last day will let you experience the life of Khasi. Thadan has a blended combination of beautiful lakes, woods, ponds, vegetation and small villages.
Day 03: Laitlum (Nongkrem)
Situated in the Hima of Nongkrem, Laitlum imparts some of the best views of Khasi Hills. Breezy and fresh aura will rejuvenate you mentally and physically.
