Situated in Kuflon, Uttaranchal, Mandanbitti is the highest peak that offers a heavenly view of the great Himalayan ranges. Some years back it was a part of the Varuna yatra (a local circular pilgrim route). With changing times it fell out of the circle, making Varuna yatra possible in one day. It is surrounded by beautiful meadows spread across the magnificent green blanket of grass and bright flowers. It offers a view of the surrounding regions. The Himalayas are a cluster of several unclimbed peaks with an altitude varying anywhere between 6000m to 7000m. At 10450 feet, Mount Madanbitti is a challenge to the trekkers as well as tourists who are looking for a bit of an adventure. The 4-day journey begins in the tents at Kuflon where in the base is set for the camping process. Thereafter several activities like Trekking, watching sunrise from the mountain top, camp-fire, sleeping in the tents are some fun filled activities can look forward to.

Day 01: Arrive at Kuflon (1550m) (6 hrs drive)
An early start, around 7 am is ideal. One can start off with the camping process after the afternoon meal and then retire into the tents. Unwinding with a hot cup of tea or coffee and a brief walk thereafter to familiarize oneself with the place is essential. An overnight stay proceeded by a campfire and dinner in the evening in Kuflon are the best way to wrap up the first day at kuflon.
Day 02: Kuflon to base camp (2100m)
After an early morning breakfast, one can start off with the trek along with some packed lunch. There is a 2-3 hours trek from Mount Mandanbitti (approx. 8000 ft.) to a highland meadow at the base which gives a 360 degree view of the surrounding region. An overnight stay is advised.
Day 03: Ascent to Mandanbitti top (3200m)
The next morning calls for an early start as sunrise on the snow-clad mountain peaks awaits. One can turn back in the evening to have dinner and later on sleep in the tents.
Day 04: Mandanbitti base to Kuflon
The first three days activities tires one out and hence the last day should be spent at Kuflon, sight-seeing. Return to Kuflon after breakfast and enjoy the simple beauty of Kuflon. And after overnight stay one can leave for home the next day.
