Makalidurga located around 60 km from Bangalore near Doddaballapur offers various options to visitors like bird watching, Trekking, rappelling and allied activities. Makali Durga (fort) stands atop a huge granite hillock, huddled up amidst the chains of mountains, formed like a valley closer to Ghati Subramanya, a well-known pilgrimage center. It has a fort on top, at the height of 1,350mts. There is a temple of lord Shiva. You will get the glimpse of the mountain train; passing through the valley at the foothills of these Mountains.
The mountain is filled with date plants, lemon grass, many more plants and small boulders. There are huge lakes at the edge of Hillock River. You will get the glimpse of the mountain train; passing through the valley at the foothills of these Mountains. Ghati Subramanya and Makali Durga region have large patches of natural shrub forests. There is an interesting trekking option to Makali Durga (fort) which is near Ghati Subramanya. Makkalidurga, also known as Gunjur Hill, is situated at Makalidurga village, 12 km from Ghati Subramanya.

07:00hrs- We will start our journey at 7 am from the office.
07:30hrs- We will depart from here and have our breakfast on the way. It is a journey of 2 hrs and 30 minutes.
10:00hrs- At 10 in morning we will hit the steep rocks with the help of ropes for bouldering and rappelling.
14:00hrs- We will take lunch break and take rest for some time.
16:00hrs- We will move forward for trekking and chimney climbing.
17:45hrs- We will have tea and Snacks break, and make our self ready to depart.
18:00hrs- At 6 in the evening, we will depart from here.
20:30hrs- At 8 30 p.m. we will be back in Bangalore.
