Kafni Glacier Trek is nestled with the scenic beauty with tranquility. It is located in the district of Bageshwar within Kumaon region of Uttarakhand state. Kafni is situated left of Pindar Valley, beneath the famous peak of Nandkot and to the southeast of Nanda Devi Peak.

Kafni glacier offers rise to river Kafni, which is an offshoot of river Pindar. Pindar itself is again, an offshoot of Alaknanda River, this is one of the two head streams of river Ganga.

Kafni, though a small glacier, is very well-liked by the trekkers and adventure lovers. It is compared with Pindar, the valley here is broader. We will come across the multi-colored high altitude flowers like that of Rhododendrons, which will make our journey to this icy paradise an unforgettable experience. Kaphini also puts forward magnificent views of Himalayan Treks like Nandakot (6, 860 m) and Nandabhnar (6, 236 m).

Day 01: Kathgodam (Rail Head) to Nainital.

On the very first day we will start form Kathgodam and leave for Nainital. Stay at night in Nainital in hotel.

Day 02: Leave for Soung and trek to Loharkhet (1750 Meters, 3 Km)

After having light food, we will move to Soung by bus, which is 181 km, thereafter, will take a trek of 3 km. Overnight stay follows at hotel or in camp.

Day 03: Dhakuri (2690 Meters, 11 Km trek). Night stay is in Tented Camp/T.R.H.

On this day, we begin our day for Dhakuri. Take a trek of around 11kms. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 04: Trek Dhakuri to Dwali (2575 Mtrs) via Khati (2210Mtrs) 19 Kms trek.

After having breakfast, we will start from Dhakuri to Dwali via Khati, which is a trek of 19 km. Take an overnight halt in tented camp.

Day 05: Trek Dwali to Phurkia (3260 Meters) 6 Km trek.

On this day, we will trek to Phurkia- a 6 km trek. Over night stay follows in the camps.

Day 06: Trek Phurkia to Pindari Glacier (Zero Point) and back to Dwali.

After having breakfast, take a trek to Pindari Glacier called as zero point. And then come back to Dwali, which is of 17 kms. Stay at night in tented camp.

Day 07: Trek Dwali to Byalligair (3550 Mtrs) 10 Km trek.

On this day, we will trek further to Byalligair, the distance is 10 kms. Overnight stay is in tented camps.

Day 08: Trek to Kafni Glacier (3860 Meters - Zero Point) and back to Dwali (total trekking distance 18 Km)

After having breakfast, we will move for trekking to Glacier and get back to Dwali. Take an overnight halt in tented camp.

Day 09: Trek Dwali to Dhakuri. 19 Km.

On this day, we will trek from Dwali to Dhakuri, which is 19 km. Overnight stay is followed in tented camp.

Day 10: Trek Dhakuri to Loharkhet 11 Km.

Take a trek of 11 km from Dhakuri to Loharkhet. Overnight stay follows in tented Camp.

Day 11: Trek to Soung (3 Kms) and then to Kathgodam. Departure.

We will trek to Soung after having light food, and then will leave for Kathagodam. Then get back to our destination.
