Kaziranga National Park is spread between Golaghat and Nagaon district in Assam. The park is sprawled across 430 sq km with Brahmaputra flowing in the North and Karbi Anglong mountain ranges lining the park in the south. The National Highway number 37 cuts across the park and there are chances you might spot rhinos and wild elephants.

A world heritage site, Kaziranga National Park was declared a national park in the year 1974. It is well known for Great Indian one horned rhinoceros. The landscape here comprises of tall elephant grass, marshes, puddles and muddy pools.

This beautiful park is one of the last untamed regions towards the eastern India. The wildlife here includes elephants, panthers, tigers and bears. The bird watchers have a treat here as this park has hundreds of species of birds.

Day 01:

Today morning you will reach Kaziranga National Park.(255km/5.5hrs). You will be checked into a hotel where you can rest and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02:

You start early morning and after a hearty breakfast set out for an elephant ride. After the ride you go for a jeep safari which takes you around the park. Evenings are free for your leisure activities. Put up in the hotel for the night.

Day 03:

Today you start your journey back home but not before a hearty breakfast.

Best Time to visit: Mid November to Early April months

- Khaki/neutral colored clothes

- Sunglasses, Suntan lotions, Hat, Binoculars

- Note pad and Pen

- Camcorders/Cameras for there is a lot to capture. Extra batteries/memory cards for there are ample of clicking opportunities.
