Friendship Peak Expedition

Friendship Peak is a majestic mountain, situated at Pir Panjal range, in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. This mountain, covered with snow, is perched at an altitude of 5,289 m above the sea level. The best route to access this peak is through Dhundi and Beas Kund. The ideal time to climb this peak is from May to June and September to October. Kullu Manali Airport and Joginder Nagar Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station.
The 13 day trip starts from Delhi and ends in Bakarthach. We trek from Manali to Solang to Bakarthach and reach the friendship peak. We set a base camp at the place and move forward to another advance base camp.
Friendship peak in the Beas Kund area is an ideal non-technical trekking peak for those with limited or no mountaineering knowledge.

Day 01
On arrival at Delhi airport meet the representatives and then transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi – Manali
We spend half the day sightseeing at Delhi. In the evening, we drive to Manali by AC Volvo coach at 18:30 hrs. It is an overnight journey.
Day 03: Manali
Arrive at Manali in the morning. On arrival, transfer to hotel and unwind. In the afternoon, visit Hadimba Devi temple. Evening is free to explore the Mall road. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Manali - Solang - Bakarthach (3500 mts/11480 ft)
An early morning drive to Solang will be followed by a trek to Bakarthach. En route you will trek through lush green valleys and thick forests. Dinner and stay overnight at camp.
Day 05 and 06:
These two days we give ourselves time to acclimatize around Bakarthach. At nights we will take dinner and stay in the camps.
Day 07: Bakarthach - Base Camp
In the morning, trek after breakfast to base camp of the friendship peak. Dinner and stay overnight in the camp.
Day 08: Base Camp – Advance Base Camp
In the morning, after breakfast trek further and establish Advanced Base Camp. Dinner and stay overnight in camp.
Day 09:
This day is reserved for summit attempts
Day 10:
ABC - Bakarthach
Day 11: Bakarthach – Solang
In the morning, trek back to Solang and from here drive to Manali for overnight stay.
Day 12: Manali – Delhi
In the morning explore the surroundings and by evening drive to Delhi by AC Volvo Coach. It is an overnight journey.
Day 13: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi by morning. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening you will be transferred to International airport to catch onwards flight.
