Coorg is an ideal place for the trekkers to full fill their desire. They can travel around and can enjoy the natural beauty in the monsoon season. Coorg also known as Kodagu, was originally known as Kodaimalenadu is the southern district of Karnataka, bordering Kerala towards the west. This place is a treat for a true blue adventurer. This camp is on a bank of a river. While mounting, you have the full view of the hill ranges on the other side. Kayaking and swimming in the river, to rappelling down rock face, to trekking to the hills around, to indulging in night safari, this place will offer you to experience thrills. The nights will be enjoyable with a huge camp fire. Kayaking on moonlight is a novelty.This place is a treat for a true blue adventurer.
Day 1:
Start your day with canoeing/kayaking, which can be done till 2 km. For your safety, the canoe has been fixed with an out rigger. After breakfast we can depart for our onward journey.
Reach Coorg, by noon, and have lunch. Get set to cross river and be ready for rappelling. Rappelling is done aside of the waterfall, which has a cliff of around 70 ft. Finish this session by evening, and enjoy dinner with campfire. After dinner, and be a part of night mountain safari, which is an escapade of only 1.5 hours.
Day 2:
Start your day with canoeing/kayaking, which can be done till 2 km. For your safety, the canoe has been fixed with an out rigger. After breakfast we can depart for our onward journey.
Foreign tourists need to receive Inner Line Permits to enter any part of Coorg.
Check the condition of the equipments before mounting.
While mounting in this area, keep in mind that make sure that you do not dirty the surrounding places. All the waste should be gathered and disposed off away from the camping site.
