Chinnar Wildlife and Anamalai Tiger Resrve

 

A paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers, Anamalai Sanctuary covers an area of 108 sq. km. A hilly forest of Anamalai comprises of evergreen shoals with folds of terrains. The prominent destination, Anamalai is located on hill. This place is bounded by dense woods and verdant terrains. 800 species are found in the National Park of Anamalai. The avian world includes green pigeon, emerald dove, great Indian Malabar pied horn bill, woodpecker etc.


Explore Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The misty morning journey will take you to the lofty Ghats with Palani hills. The woodlands comprises of dry deciduous to arid flora and fauna. A land of sandalwood Chinnar wild life sanctuary is in the rain shadow region of Western Ghats. It is the habituation to the vulnerable giant grizzled squirrel of India. This sanctuary is also ideal for hiking. Moist meadows, high shoals, arid forests add charm to the whole region. Explore ancient caves, rock arts and shelters.

Day 01 Chinnar:


You start with rising sun, early morning. After having light food, move towards Chinnar wild life sanctuary. This day is spent view the wild life and flora. Also explore ancient rock shelters, caves, and rock arts.


Day 02: Anamalai:


Second and last day of this trip will lead you to Anamalai wild life sanctuary. A colorful avian bird and an abundant flora and fauna will leave you speechless. Pay a visit to caves, shelters of rock, and rock arts.


Best time to visit: Anytime of the year.


- Accommodation will be in Farm house, campfire dinner, camping, escort fees, entry fees etc.

- Your journey passes through hairpin bends, table lands and creeks.

- Minimum pax- 2, Maximum pax- 8

- The camping will be in Observation towers. Bring sleeping bag or warm cloth for overnight stay.

- The team also has English speaking expert and tribal trekkers.

- You will be given 2 bottles of water a day. Carry more if you need more.
