A fairly technical peak set in the Manali valley, Deo Tibba is popular among climbers who have good mountaineering knowledge. It is a pleasant trek that leads us to the grazing pastures of the Gaddi shepherds and the emerald blue waters of the Chandertal Lake (4,480 m) with magnificent views of Deo
Deo Tibba trek is a congenial trek that will take us to the grazing grounds of the Gaddi shepherds and the Chandertal Lake (4,480 m) with an outstanding view of Deo Tibba peak (6,001 m) and its huge lynching glaciers. This is a stunning sight that excites every trekker, giving it an exclusive experience.
The normal route to deo tibba base camp starts from Jagat Sukh, 6 km south of Manali, on the way to Naggar. It is an ancient village. We will also, either at beginning or end, take a side tour to the top of Rohtang Pass for fine views into the arid vastness of Lahaul. We will observe a panoramic view of Pir panjal range.
We will trek above the Jobri Nallah and descend to Chikka and continue along the Hamta nallah. Pass bears den and cross Hamta Pass (4268 m). We will continue trekking to Chatru, small hamlets; from here we will drive by jeep to Manali over Rohtang pass. It is an easy trek with some of the most beautiful walks in Manali region unfolds the most magnificent mountain scapes. It’s an absolute delight for nature lovers, flora enthusiasts, trekkers & adventure seekers.
Day 01: Drive from Manali to Sethan village (1 hour drive)
On the first day we will trek to Chhika, with a magnificent waterfall nearby, which takes 2 hrs. Take an acclimatization walk for 3 hrs. Take an over night stay at camp.
Day 02: Chikka to Hampta base camp (5 hrs)
After breakfast, we will walk up to Hamta base camp. Over night stay follows at camp.
Day 03: Hampta base camps to Marhi (5-6 hrs)
From Hampta base camp, we will proceed further to Marhi. There is a meadow with extensive views. Over night halt at camp.
Day 04: Marhi to Deo tibba base camp (5 hrs)
Start from Marhi and reach to Deo Tibba Base camp. Our goal of trekking will elevate us to 4020 meters. We will observe spectacular natural settings at the mouth of the glacier.

Day 05: Begin our trek to Manali
We will begin our trek to Manali. By a little-known alternate route in order to avoid back trekking. Continue to explore new territory as we move down to the grazing meadows, take a 5hrs trek up to Shayaphoo. Stay over night at camp
Day 06: Shayaphoo to seathan (3 hrs)
Last day, get back to Sethan and Manali, which will take 1 hour.
