Savandurga hills are located at an altitude of 1226 m above the sea level. These hills are considered to be one of the largest monolith hills in India. They serve as the base for pilgrims who come to visit the Savandi Veerabhadreshwara Swamy temple and Narasimha Swamy temple, situated at the base of the hills. Savandi Veerabhadreshwara Swamy temple and Narasimha Swamy temple are also quite popular amongst rock-climbers, cave-explorers and adventurers. The dry deciduous forest surrounding the hills is home to the endangered Yellow-throated Bulbuls, Sloth bears, Leopards, etc. Even the flora of the Savandurga Hills is quite varied, comprising of over 59 tree and 119 shrub species.This is one of the best place for Trekking in Bangalore and also good weekend getaways Bangalore.

06.30 am: Departure from Bangalore

09:00 am: Arrival at campsite and have breakfast.

10:00 am: After breakfast, we trek up to the caves situated amid the jungle. We will also exlore these murky caves under the guidance of the instructors. It takes 2 hrs to explore these caves and is done with a team effort. After cave exploration, we will return back to the campsite.

02:00 pm: Lunch

After Lunch we can do activities like Jumaring, High Rope Traversing and Rappelling. Any two, from the mentioned activities will be done depending on the time and group size.

5:30 pm: on the completion of the fun-filled day, we will depart back from campsite.
